Migrations

# CRM migration without losing a single deal or note.

Moving from Salesforce to HubSpot, Pipedrive to Attio, or a spreadsheet into a real CRM? Remqa's engineers map, move and verify your data, then switch you over with history and relationships intact.

In short Remqa runs CRM migrations end to end between Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho, Attio and other CRMs. Contacts, companies, deals, activity history, custom fields and files are mapped, test-migrated and verified before cutover, and the old CRM stays read-only until you sign off.

- Typical timeline: two to six weeks from mapping to cutover

- Activity history moves with original dates and correct owners

- Workflows and automations are rebuilt and tested in the new CRM

- AI helps with mapping and cleanup, engineers review everything

## What we migrate
Most CRM migrations go wrong in the details. Contacts move fine. Then someone notices the deal history is gone, notes are attached to the wrong company, or every owner is now the admin who ran the import. We plan for those details from day one.

- **Records:** contacts, companies or accounts, deals or opportunities, leads, products and line items

- **History:** notes, emails, calls, meetings and tasks, linked to the right record with original dates

- **Structure:** pipelines, stages, custom fields, picklist values, owners and teams

- **Files:** attachments and documents carried across and linked to the same records

- **Automation:** workflows, sequences and assignment rules rebuilt in the new system, not just listed

## Systems we work with
Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Attio, Close, Copper, Freshsales, Microsoft Dynamics and spreadsheets. If your CRM has an API or a full export, we can move it.

## How a CRM migration runs
1 **Map.** Every object, field, owner, stage and file is mapped from old to new. You sign off on the map before anything moves.

2 **Test run.** A full trial migration into a sandbox or a copy of the new system, so problems show up before go-live, not after.

3 **Verify.** Record counts reconciled, relationships checked, and spot checks on real records with your team.

4 **Cut over.** A planned switch with a short freeze window, then a final delta sync for anything that changed during the test run.

5 **Keep the old system read-only.** Nothing is deleted until you are happy with the new one.

## Where AI helps, and where it doesn't
We use AI for the slow parts: proposing field mappings, cleaning and normalising messy values, spotting duplicates that don't match exactly, and writing the transform scripts. Engineers review every mapping and every script, and the verification step is plain counting and checking, not a model's opinion.
Planning it yourself first? Read our [CRM migration checklist](https://remqa.com/blog/crm-migration-checklist). It covers the questions to answer before you export anything.

## Who this is for
Sales and recruiting teams switching CRMs, companies merging two CRMs after an acquisition, and teams that have outgrown spreadsheets. Recruiting firms moving between recruiting CRMs should also see [ATS migration](https://remqa.com/ats-migration).

FAQ
## Common questions.

**Q: How long does a CRM migration take?**
Most small and mid-size CRM migrations take two to six weeks from mapping to cutover. The biggest factors are how much history you keep, how many custom objects you have and how clean the data is.

**Q: Will we lose email and activity history?**
Not if it is planned for. Notes, emails, calls and tasks are migrated as activities linked to the same records with their original dates, where the target CRM supports it.

**Q: Do we have to stop using the old CRM during the move?**
Only for a short freeze at cutover. Everything before that is a test run, and a final delta sync picks up anything that changed in the meantime.

**Q: Can you rebuild our workflows and automations?**
Yes. Workflows, sequences and assignment rules are rebuilt and tested in the new CRM as part of the project.

**Q: What happens to the old CRM?**
It stays read-only until you sign off on the new one. Nothing gets deleted until you say so.
